Welcome
My name is Kathleen Paydo, I am a foster parent who promotes foster child advocacy in my home and within my community. I am a member of the National Foster Parent Association, the Catholic Writers Guild, and a registered nurse through the state of Ohio. During much of our thirty-five year marriage, Ron and I, along with our four biological children, have opened our home to foster children who have no one to care for them and nowhere else to go. The devastation that abuse and neglect causes have taught us the immense impact parents have on children.

- October 2017 – Received the Father James P. O’Donnell Award from the Cleveland Diocese for dedicated service and outstanding leadership in girls’ religious programs.
- October 2016 – Featured in Northeast Ohio Catholic Magazine with accompanying video about the Catholic faith and its positive impact on the children that enter our home through the foster system.
- October 2016 – Recognized by the Cleveland Diocese with the St. Anne Medal for outstanding service to the spiritual development of Catholic youth.
